First, use the USB cable contained in the box in order to power the mini router. When the router is powered, connect either your phone or laptop to the router’s default Wi-Fi network. This default network is either printed on the label or the packaging.

Open a browser and type this address into the URL search bar: 192.168.8.1. Use the default login details provided there. The setup wizard will handle the rest, guiding you step by step as you link the mini router to a Wi-Fi, an Ethernet, or even tethered mobile data.

With only a few additional clicks, VPN or Tor can be activated should additional privacy be needed. Also, the firmware can be updated; newer versions provide enhanced security and better performance.
