Operating Guide for Electric Tool Advantages

Before operation, pay attention to the position of the reversing switch so that you can understand the rotation direction when operating the intake valve.

Please ensure that the compressed air entering the electric tool motor is clean and dry air with a maximum pressure of 6.0 bar. Otherwise, it may/inevitably lead to transmission system malfunctions, overspeeding, rupture, incorrect output torque, and other potential risks.

Make sure that all the hoses and other connection installations are of the correct size and the devices are firmly installed; do not use damaged, worn or aged air hoses and other connection installations; it is recommended to install an emergency shut-off valve on the gas supply line, and make sure that others understand its installation location.

Before operating the machine, make sure there is sufficient lubricating oil in the oil cup. In the case of insufficient or no lubricating oil, it will accelerate the wear of the air motor blades, resulting in reduced tool performance and increased maintenance work.

The body posture must be maintained in a balanced and stable position. Do not make large movements when operating this tool. During the process of turning on and operating the tool, be vigilant and prevent sudden changes in torque and force during the movement.

If there is a problem with the hose or a connection breakage, an appropriately sized air safety device can be installed on the hose. And in a situation where the hose is not disconnected, any stable installation method for the hose connection can be used to prevent the hose from swinging.

This tool is a torque tool with an opposing force arm. The tremendous torque generated by the machine is all absorbed by the opposing force arm.

Therefore, during operation, it is necessary to find sufficient strong support points for the counterforce arm. Considering safety, when the machine is in operation, one must stay away from the working range of the counterforce arm. Otherwise, it may/inevitably cause serious harm to the human body.

(Q) The PTW series pneumatic torque wrench achieves precise torque control by adjusting the mechanical gear position, air source control components, and power management system. The operation is as follows:

Mechanical gear: Refer to the torque comparison table and adjust the gearshift knob to 1st gear or 2nd gear.

Adjust the air source pressure to the required level by following these steps.

Raise the pressure regulating cap upwards. Turning it clockwise will increase the pressure, while counterclockwise rotation will reduce the pressure.

After adjusting to the operating pressure, make sure to press down and fix the pressure regulating cap.

During the adjustment process, there will be a slight leakage, which is a normal phenomenon.

Refer to the torque comparison table and adjust the power adjustment knob to the appropriate position. 1 represents the minimum and 4 represents the maximum.

This system enables the operator to reduce the maximum forward output power. However, the power management system has no effect on the reverse output power.

The power level indication is for reference only and does not represent the exact power. By using the variable valve stem, the forward or reverse output power can be further adjusted.
