I don’t know if anyone else can relate, but sometimes I just get in these moods where I want to reorganize everything — makeup drawers, skincare shelf, the whole deal. Yesterday was one of those days, and while I was sorting through stuff, I realized something kind of funny: almost half my collection is l'oreal makeup. I didn’t even do it on purpose. It’s like over the years I just gravitated toward their stuff without realizing it.
The crazy part? It actually holds up. Some of their products I’ve had for months (okay fine, maybe longer than I should), and they’re still great. That Infallible foundation is one of the few that doesn’t slide off my face halfway through the day. I also have a couple of their lipsticks that somehow manage to be creamy and long-lasting, which almost never happens with drugstore brands.
I know some people are super into high-end makeup, and don’t get me wrong — I like a good splurge here and there. But honestly, l'oreal makeup just gets the job done without making my wallet cry. Plus, it’s easy to find, which helps when I run out of something last-minute before an event.
Anyway, just thought I’d share my little realization. If you’re ever unsure about trying new stuff, or just want something reliable that works across the board, I’d say their line is pretty solid. Not everything's a 10/10, but more often than not, I’m surprised in a good way.
Anyone else lowkey hoarding l'oreal makeup without realizing it? 😂
