Where is it easier to rent a car in Germany?

I will be in Germany for a couple of weeks, I plan to travel a lot - for business and to see a bit of the surrounding area. Public transportation is not always convenient, so I can't do without a car. I'm thinking of renting one, but I don't know where it's easier
