With the rapid increase in plastic consumption across industries, managing plastic waste has become a serious environmental concern. To regulate this growing challenge, the Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016, introduced by the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC), make it mandatory for plastic producers, importers, brand owners, and recyclers to obtain a Plastic Waste Authorization.
