Maps are endgame items that open portals to unique instanced areas. Each map corresponds to a tier of difficulty (from Tier 1 up to Tier 16) and contains randomized layouts, monsters, and modifiers that impact gameplay. Running maps lets you farm experience, currency, and valuable loot.
