Who has worked with Tezos - how does it work in practice?

I'm looking at Tezos for one project - the idea of self-management and low commissions is interesting. I want to make a dApp, but I haven't launched anything in this network before. I'm thinking of finding someone who offers Tezos development services and can help with the technical part.
