Corteiz (sometimes stylized as CRTZ or Corteiz Rules The World) was founded in 2017 by Clint419, a British-Nigerian entrepreneur whose real name is Clint Ogbenna. Based in London, Clint began the brand out of a desire to create something that reflected his own identity and community — raw, unapologetic, and steeped in a street-first ethos. Rather than chasing mainstream appeal, Clint focused on cultivating a brand that spoke directly to the youth of London and beyond, particularly those from underrepresented or marginalized backgrounds.
