The Expanded and Enhanced versions of the game on PS5 & Xbox Series X have access to Hao's Special Works, which is a unique mod shop in the Los Santos Car Meet (now accessible in the Vinewood Club Garage as of the Agents DLC). One of the recent DLC features which is the Bravado Banshee GTS, is the new fastest car within GTA Online, though it's still being challenged by two motorbikes. GTA+ members could claim it for free up to January 8, but it's being offered for sale at $1,989,500 by Legendary Motorsport. It's also eligible for an HSW upgrade and these numbers don't include the car. The other new cars aren't as fast as the top two in this list.

This list includes only "normal" vehicles as well as motorcycles, those that can be used for regular racing and don't receive any other external boosts besides the occasional dose of nitrous. The speedy-but-unraceable submersible Pegassi Toreador, which would have been in the top 10, isn't included, for example.

These lists will help you determine the best car for you if you have a corner-heavy race or a lengthy top speed race. The best car in one circumstance may not translate into the top car in a different. For instance, the 811 isn't in the list of most efficient lap times in the top 20, even though it's an extremely fast car.


The Weevil Custom, which is part of the Muscle class and has the ability to corner, can reach an average speed of 15 mph faster than an Open Wheel car.

Muscle Class Races

The Vapid Dominator GT has edged out the perennially popular Bravado Buffalo STX from a performance standpoint from a lap time perspective in the muscle class. HSW cars are among the best in their class, but they're not accessible on PC.


Tuner street races

Street racing is restricted to the "Tuner" sub-class which includes a range of cars from the Los Santos Tuners DLC that are part of other classes (like Muscle, Sports and so on) however they can be raced in conjunction. There are three main contenders in this class if you wish to compete:

The Growler and Jester RR lie in 4th and 5th places for Tuner races respectively, but are somewhat off the pace of the top three that are separated by around two tenths of seconds across each of them.


With the Vectre with the highest capability to corner as well as the Calico with the fastest acceleration, and the Sultan being the best all-rounder It's entirely up to your personal preferences on which one you prefer. Be aware that certain tracks may also be more suitable for one of these cars than others, however choosing one of the top three makes sure that you'll always be in the game.
