Nolambur–Mogappair turned into a pocket of holiday sparkle on 14 December 2025 as children and their parents gathered inside the Decathlon campus for the Kid’s Santa Walkathon, organised by Sportena Academy. The venue felt more like a cheerful festival than a fitness event. Santa caps, bright colours, and excited young faces set an unmistakably festive tone long before the morning began formally.
Morning That Unfolded in Lively Little Moments
Families arrived at the campus ahead of the 4:30 AM start, taking their places as the venue prepared for the walk. Children and parents moved toward the starting area as the atmosphere settled into a quiet sense of anticipation.
Once the event was flagged off, the 1 km, 3-lap walk moved forward at a steady pace. Children moved with focus and interest, while parents walked alongside them in a supportive rhythm, creating small groups that made their way around the loop. Each lap contributed to a pleasant, festive tone across the campus.
Registrations Supported by iFinish
Sign-ups for the walkathon were coordinated through iFinish, the event’s registration partner.
The platform kept participation organised ahead of the event and helped families receive the information they needed without hassle. Its role added a steady backend structure to a morning built around simplicity and fun.
A Warm Close to the Event
As the laps came to an end, the campus settled into a calm close. Participants spent a few moments together, taking in the festive setup and sharing the satisfaction of finishing the walk. The atmosphere stayed light and pleasant, matching the tone that had shaped the morning.
The Kid’s Santa Walkathon 2025 ended as a gentle, engaging experience—simple in design yet meaningful for those who took part. It showed how a short walk, shared with family during the holiday season, can offer a refreshing and enjoyable start to the day.
